___________

Q: What inspires you?
Everyone who has the grit to access their full capacity and wit to allow for pause and rest. It's such a tricky balance but I know some people who do it well and it's inspiring.

Q: In a few words, can you describe what brought you to yoga? Life continuously brings me to Yoga, it started when I needed to balance my body from injuries (I've had 7 major tears and fractures). This continued when I needed to balance my spirit (sometimes life can get you down!) and I'm currently undertaking some pretty cool yoga for the mind.

Q: How would you describe your teaching style?
I enjoy extending autonomy and want my students to have memorable experiences in the studio. They will learn from these experiences without taking things too seriously and understand that your mind and body absorb more efficiently when you're having fun.

Q: Do you have any rituals or routines you swear by?
YES! I do Usha Pan every morning without fail: I drink about a liter of warm water the very first thing after I wake up. Another must-do each morning is rinsing my nose with simply saline, making Colorado life a little easier in the dry air.

Q: What do you love about Aspen?
Almost EVERYTHING, but I especially love guiding yoga and meditation for some of the world's most sophisticated students, it’s just pure bliss!

Q: What does wellness mean to you?
Wellness means you feel things happening holistically, circularly, and progressively towards good things.

Q: What's on your playlist?
My latest favorite song to play in the studio is "Love Nwantiti" by CKay, Joeboy and Kuami Eugene, it's pretty much on repeat!

Q: What's your favorite quote at the moment?
"Health is not everything, but without health, everything is nothing", by Arthur Schopenhauer, a German philosopher who was inspired by Indian philosophy. I haven't explored deep into his work but he definitely got that quote right!

Q: When you're not on your mat, where can we find you?
I'm taking advantage of a second learning wind, so you can find me reading textbooks and research papers relevant to yoga and exercise science. I'm also ALWAYS ready to go snowboarding.
